K&K cottage candids

We had the best summer out at the cottage. I had the whole month of July off and we were beach bums!

Fishing

Jamie bought the kids fishing poles to start them early :-) They were surprisingly good at casting and reeling in "the big one". If you ask them how big the fish was that they caught, they would stretch their arms out as wide as they could and say "this big"...learning young alright!

Finn/Polack game

During one of the festivals in town this summer, Jamie and I played softball in the annual Finn vs. Pollack game. It was a lot of fun!

Family boat ride up the river

Jamie bought a little aluminium boat and put his portable motor on the back. He just pulls this boat up onto shore so he was able to do a some fishing and we were able to take a few family boat rides up the river. The scenery is gorgeous!

Tried a little bit of fishing

Cute family photos

Goofin' around!

Rasberry picking in the front yard

Our yard is covered with rasberry bushes! The kids loved to go out picking (although I think there was more eating than dropping into their cups)!

Blueberry picking

Sarah and I took the kids blueberry picking this summer out by the cottage at Lake Mary. Blueberries are Kaleb's favorite!

Green Bay Zoo

Jamie and I took the kids to the zoo in Green Bay at the beginning of August.

My favorite zoo animal is the giraffe, so I loved that we could feed them crackers!

Summer '09

So, our last post was in April - time to resurrect the past. Ill start by saying it has been a good and extremely busy summer thus far! The twins are growing up sooo fast it is hard to imagine the difference of size, intellect, life experiences and will power between April and now. So here goes!
