Our new home

We moved into our new house in Crystal Falls at the end of August. We live on a clear, clean river where Jamie can take the boat fishing during the summer/fall and ice fish right out front during the winter. The view this fall with the leaves full of color was absolutely gorgeous! We have over 3 acres of land - Jamie and my brother have been hunting on our property, and we are thinking about going out to cut down our own Christmas tree. The kids have had a lot of fun looking at deer in our front yard and playing in our big yard. We had to take down A LOT of wallpaper and repainted just about every room. We are still working on finding curtains, but have settled in very nicely.

The is Kaleb standing near our driveway, with a view down to the river. Our house is about 100 yards away from the river. In the spring, we will do some landscaping in the yard leading down there.

We tore out a fireplace from the kitchen and put in a big picture window. It was the BEST decision, because the view from the kitchen is great!

Here was the start of the colors changing.

Here is a shot of the house itself. It was built in 2002. We took many walks in the wagon up the driveway.

Playing outside

They played many hours on their slide.

Grandma Sandy and Papa David got them golf clubs this summer, so Jamie started them early!

Taking a walk down the driveway

We have a long driveway leading into our house and this fall we took many walks in the wagon down the driveway. You can see our house in the distance.

Poo Poo in the Potty (MAYBE...)

Last night we had a blast with the kids.  It was a true "family" moment!

We were getting the kids ready for bed and all off sudden Kaleb said, "Poo poo, poo poo, poo poo!"as he is squatting and grunting.  What fun!   Im thinking we have some over achievers as kids.  Well, we got our hopes up some, but it was a blast as the 3 (Kendall, Jill and I) of us were encouraging him by grunting.  Kendall would look in the potty to see if Kaleb (or Kucky as Kendall calls him) did his business.  She would naively trick us by saying "poo, poo!"  At the end, we had no "poo, poo", but it was a great moment!

Kendall, is really our over achiever at the moment.  She has gone "pee pee" in the potty a couple of times now.  With the reward of m&m's, how can you go wrong?!?!

Little Leprechauns

My sister took these pictures over the summer at the cottage and they are so precious! They remind me of little leprechauns in the tall grass!

Summer memories!

I am going through all of the pictures from this summer. On a blistery cold day like today, it is nice to look at pictures from warmer days!

Adysen came to visit

My college roommate Amber, her husband DeWayne and their daughter Adysen came to visit over Labor Day weekend. The kids are the same age and they had a blast playing together!
