Mommy Time

I am still fortunate enough to be able to stay at home with Kendall and Kaleb. Although it can be very tiring chasing around two little ones that don't always run (yes, they are running now) in the same direction, it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life! Both Jamie and I feel very blessed with our kids and thank God every day that we have them!

Beach Bums

We have had a great summer, spending a lot of time out at our cottage (just 7 minutes from Crystal Falls)! The kids like to play in the sand, look for frogs, quack at the ducks, spend time in the boat, look in the water at the fish and walk on the dock. Although they will both get in the water, Kendall seems to enjoy "swimming" more than Kaleb at this point. She likes to be in her floatee. I'm sure by next summer he will also be a "little fish"!

Goofing Around

Here are some cute candids of the kids!
As you can tell Kaleb was enjoying the bouncy seat more than Kendall...

Kaleb loves my sister's dog Leo! They both will pant like a dog whenever they see him (or any dog) and they are learning how to say his name. It is so cute and he is so good with them!

This picture is a little bit older (as you can tell by Kaleb's longer hair) but I thought it was very cute!

Boat Ride

We just bought a home in Crystal Falls on the Paint River. It is a beautiful home (built in 2002) with 300 feet of river front. We put our boat in and took a ride up the river. It was beautiful!

Bass Festival

One of the festivals in Crystal Falls that we celebrated was Bass Festival in July. Here we are at the parade.

We also went to the "Wop/Swede" softball game.
Here is Kendall and my cousin Ann playing down by the kids games.
They also had a band that the kids were dancing to!

Baptism

We had Kendall and Kaleb baptized on July 6th at United Lutheran Church in Crystal Falls. Jamie's family traveled up to be with us and it was great to have them here! Right when they were brought up onto the alter, they both waved, which was pretty cute! After that, they were pretty squirmy, so now I realize how much easier it is when they are little. Also, Kendall kept trying to pick her nose (she really doesn't do this on a normal basis, I guess she just wanted to show off for the congregation)! Jamie's brother Travis and sister Shawn, and my brother Dan and sister Sarah are godparents to both of the kids.

They each had their names on a banner.

Great times with Family!

Even though we don't get to see Jamie's side of the family very often, we still love them very much and really appreciated that they traveled up to Crystal Falls to be with us!

Having fun at the beach

Everyone had a great time at our cottage. The weather was nice and the water was warm!

Keiley and Travis celebrated their birthdays while they were here. Look at Kendall reaching for the cupcakes!
