Woods and walks

The kids love to be outdoors! We spend most of their waking hours doing something outside now that the weather is nice.



K & K love their sweet ride! We have been walking a lot (and starting to run again). On the days during the week that my sister has off, we will walk a few miles and do a lot of hills. For a few days, they would keep their sunglasses on, but now they just chew on them. Kendall likes to put her feet up on the bar.

So Spoiled!

As a surprise gift from Jamie for my 30th birthday, he took me to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic! It's official....I'm spoiled (and so lucky to have such a wonderful husband)!!! My sister stayed with the kids at our house, along with help from my parents to allow us to be away for 6 nights. The resort was beautiful and the beach was awesome! It was so nice to get away just the two of us. It was PARADISE!

The BIG 3-0!

On April 14th, I turned the BIG 3-0! To be honest, the kids have kept me so busy that I haven't had much of a chance to think about how I feel being 30. So, I guess that means that it is not a big deal to me...just a number...I still feel "young"...I still act "young"... 30 is the new 20, right! My birthday celebrations however were HUGE! One of my best friends (who will remain nameless in case she is not so thrilled about turning 30) has a birthday 9 days before mine, so we had a joint party organized by my sister and friend Jen.

My actual birthday on Monday was a little bit more low key. Dinner, cake and hanging with the kids! It was perfect!
